3QD Opens Voting and a Cameo at SEED

by Jennifer Frazer on June 3, 2010

3 Quarks Daily’s Science Blogging Contest has opened the voting and I’ve got two posts in the running. You can see the nominees and vote here.

And I was surprised and honored yesterday to discover Dave Munger of researchblogging.org mentioned my Killer Yeast post in his weekly research blogging roundup at SEED magazine. Cool!

I am amused that both of your nominated articles contain the word “killer.”

Yeah, I noticed that to and felt a little bad about it. I think those are the only two posts I’ve written with “killer” in the name too. Was sheer chance!: )

I noticed it too! lol!

I guess that means I have a killer blog . . . well, killer jokes anyway. [groan]

I voted for the killer yeast, myself. I had not known that “yeast” was just a lifestyle, like dumpster-diving or commuting from a suburb.

: ) Thanks! Yeah, the commute from the bark to the wind can be hell on those low humidity days, but it’s a living.
