I‘ll be giving another public lecture this Wednesday night at the CU Natural History Museum. It’s called “Weird, Wild Colorado: Life Forms that May Surprise You from Forest, Field, Tundra, and Bloodstream”. 7p.m., on campus at the museum. Details here. Hope to see you there!

I’ll tell you more about it after the talk — don’t want to spoil it for those who are going. : )
Also, the details link in the body of this post has been fixed. It was broken earlier.

Thanks so much for the great talk last night! My boyfriend and I were blown away–Jim especially liked the slime molds, and he couldn’t believe that they’re capable of learning! Thanks again for the great talk with some awesome local examples. -Crystal

Your talk was outstanding! It was really exciting to see examples within all three domains from our Colorado flora and fauna. Your pictures were wonderful! I was glad you featured some of Mary Jane Howell’s photos too. Thank you.
